lyrics

A World To Live In

We talk the same words
So far away from your views
When I come to think of you
My heart’s in real protest
Why should you make a difference?
Human race has no colour
And you’re free to spread toxin out in the ghettos
I need a world to live in

What’s wrong with your mind, doctor
Life has a right that you can’t take away
What’s wrong with your mind
You get paid to carry on that shame

They almost ran you down
But Justice couldn’t hold you
Is it true you can go back
To work at this madness
Someday you’ll meet your fate
Your crimes against humanity
Won’t be put aside,
They will come and catch you
I need a world to live in

What’s wrong with your mind, doctor
Life has a right that you can’t take away
What’s wrong with your mind, doctor
You get paid to carry on that shame

I need a world to live in
We need a world to live in

What’s wrong with your mind, doctor
Life has a right that you can’t take away
What’s wrong with your mind, doctor
You get paid to carry on that shame

about

DRESS Lausanne, Switzerland

It was after an unlikely encounter that Dress was born in 2006. That of Brigitte Buhlmann Poget, a fan of soul, funk and R'n'B, and Laurent Poget, raised in the rock culture of the 70ties.
In 2007, Dress delivers a remarked debut album, "Misunderstanding".
"Transparency" is their new eclectic album where the voice is the common thread that takes you to the very personal sound of DRESS.
